Join the Barend Team

Would you like to work in a friendly environment, with additional perks and above-minimum wage? Our family-run business is looking for staff to join our fun team. Whether you are looking for a part time job during school or college, a job to fit around school runs or a full time career, we have many options to suit you.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Cleaners

The cleaning role involves cleaning the lodges at Barend Holiday Lodges to a high standard, as well as making beds. Training is given on how to clean the lodges, with lists of what to do. We supply all cleaning materials. Attention to detail, reliability and pride in your work is important. Applications always welcome.

Rewards and perks

There’s no big head office; all our team work directly from reception, so you know when you speak to us, you’re chatting to a local with great knowledge of the area. Unlike many self catering properties, we have an onsite maintenance and cleaning team, just to look after the chalets at Barend. So if you have any questions or something breaks whilst you’re here, please let us know and we can get it fixed or sorted for you!

Full time and part time

Our shifts can be flexible to help suit your needs. Whilst weekend working is generally required, we can offer part time roles for as little as 5 hours a week, up to full time roles. All over 18s are given proper contracts with guaranteed hours (no zero hour contracts). Under 18s are encouraged to apply, particularly for weekend and holiday work.

To find out more, or apply for a job please contact us at info@barendholidaylodges.uk. We look forward to hearing from you.
