"We had a wonderful stay at Lodge No. 58, Squirrels Chase. The house is very spacious and incredibly cosy, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable holiday — plenty of dishes, pans, pots, as well as a washing machine and dryer.
The location is perfect: just a 10-minute walk to the beach and only a 5-minute drive to the deer park.
We truly loved our time here. One of the most charming details was seeing little rabbits hopping all around the lodges — it felt like something out of a storybook.

Absolutely wonderful! Gemma and her colleagues on reception were just wonderful, so helpful and informative from start to finish . We stayed in Lodge 21 which was stunning and enjoyed the use of the pool there which was privately booked out for us at no extra cost. There's a deer park next door which was amazing also,well worth it. Stunning beach just 10 minute walk from the lodge. There's also a beautiful loch at the bottom of the lodges which is a short circular walk. The only negative thing about Barend Holiday Lodges was... Leaving!! - We honestly loved every bit of it and can't wait to return ! Book direct as cheaper and better deals.
