GROUND FLOOR
Hallway
- With ample space for hanging coats and storing shoes; plus a cupboard containing useful amenities such as an ironing board and vacuum cleaner.
Living & Dining Area
- The spacious living and dining area invites you in. Comfortably seating 6 people with a dining table and comfortable sofas, Smart TV and DVD, this room is great for families and groups alike. The living-dining area is laminated.
- A corner sofa makes excellent use of the space.
- The private balcony, with seating, is accessed via doors from the living area.
Kitchen
- A fully-equipped kitchen with:
- Gas hob and electric oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster,
- A full range of cooking utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery is provided,
- Integrated white-goods, soft close drawers, extractor fan, additional kitchenware (beyond our standard set, for example including champagne flutes, children’s cutlery etc).
- The kitchen maintains the original footprint, but with additional cupboards for a clever use of space.
- Additionally Lodge 1 has a Welsh dresser in the dining area offering further kitchen options.
King Bedroom
- A king bed, dressed in quality bedding awaits. With bedside lighting bedside cupboards and wardrobe space, there is everything you need for a great night’s sleep.
- This room has black out blinds.
Bathroom
- Recently renovated, the main bathroom features a shower over the bath, toilet with soft-close lid and hand wash basin.
- Attention to detail includes a large towel rail, lit mirror, cupboard space for toiletries, integrated window blind, glass shower screen, excellent lighting, an extractor fan and wet-wall throughout.
FIRST FLOOR
Hallway
- The stairs lead onto a small hallway from which you access both first-floor bedrooms.
Back bedroom (with balcony)
- A master king ensuite bedroom with direct access onto your private balcony- bliss!
- This wonderful escape offers storage for clothing, bedside cabinets with reading lamps.
- Enjoy added comfort with black out blinds.
- The convenience of your own spacious ensuite is one of the great benefits of this room. It features a shower, hand basin, soft-close toilet, cupboard space for toiletries, lit mirror and extractor fan. A heated towel rail makes it easy to dry off your towels.
Front Bedroom (overlooking front door)
- Accessed directly from the hallway, this room offers twin beds with bedside tables, lamps and charging points.
- For added convenience this room also includes a chest of drawers, wardrobe, mirror and black out blinds.
- This room also boasts an ensuite with soft close toilet and sink.
Outside
There is parking for 2 cars directly outside the lodge (please don’t park on the grass!).

All our holiday homes are privately owned, many of them by families, and they often come with books, toys and games to entertain everyone. The fibre broadband is fast enough to stream films. Change Over Notes
We welcome arrivals every day of the week at Barend (with a few exceptions around Christmas and New Year). Arrivals are from 4pm and we kindly request guests to depart by 10am in order for our cleaning team to get the cabins ready for the next guests. Thank you!
