- With ample space for hanging coats and storing shoes; plus a cupboard containing useful amenities such as an ironing board and vacuum cleaner.
Living & Dining Area
- The spacious living and dining area invites you in. Comfortably seating 8 people with a dining table and comfortable sofas freeview TV and DVD player with DVDs this room is great for families and groups alike.
- The living-dining area has laminate flooring.
- A corner sofa makes excellent use of the space.
- Lavender Lodge boasts a large picture window to benefit from the views whatever the weather!
- The private glass-fronted balcony, with seating, is accessed via doors from the living area.
Kitchen
- A fully-equipped kitchen with:
- Gas hob and electric double oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.
- A full range of cooking utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery is provided.
- The kitchen maintains the original footprint for those who prefer to keep the kitchen and living areas more separated.

- With bedside lighting, bedside cupboards, wardrobe space there is everything you need for a great night’s sleep.

- The main bathroom features a shower over bath with glass shower screen, toilet and sink with back lit mirror and wooden towel rail above radiator.
FIRST FLOOR
Open Plan Bedroom
- The stairs (with stairgate) open directly into the open plan room.
- This spacious room comfortably sleeps 4 people in single beds.
- Easily storing suitcases and bags in the space behind the stairs, this space also has a rail for hanging clothes. This room also offers a chest of drawers for clothes.
- This room has its own personal balcony (with seating), offering fantastic views of the loch.
Double Bedroom
- This bedroom is accessed via the open plan room and features a double bed with bedside tables, lamps and charging points.
- For added convenience this room also includes a chest of drawers, wardrobe, mirror, hairdryer, black out curtains and Venetian blinds.
- Lodge 44 has converted the wardrobe into a walk in shower. It is accessed directly from the bedroom, leaving a small wardrobe area.
- This room also boasts an ensuite with toilet and sink.
Outside
Lodge 44 is set within Barend Holiday Village; a stunning 22 acre site, where you are welcome to wander through the grounds, play on the grass and observe the wildlife around the loch.
There is parking for 2 cars directly outside the lodge (please don’t park on the grass!).

Accessibility
There are 11 steps leading to the property with a hand rail and one step up the the front door.
This property has a downstairs bedroom and downstairs bathroom with walk-in shower, which may be accessible for people with reduced mobility.

At Barend Holiday Lodges we understand the importance of family time, but also how difficult it can be packing everything! That’s why our holiday homes offer plenty of amenities to make your life easier. This property has the following as standard:

All our holiday homes are privately owned, many of them by families, and they often come with books, toys and games to entertain everyone. Change Over Notes
We welcome arrivals every day of the week at Barend (with a few exceptions around Christmas and New Year). Arrivals are from 4pm and we kindly request guests to depart by 10am in order for our cleaning team to get the cabins ready for the next guests. Thank you!
