- With ample space for hanging coats and storing shoes; plus a cupboard containing useful amenities such as an ironing board and vacuum cleaner.
Living & Dining Area
- The spacious living and dining area invites you in. Comfortably seating 6 people with a dining table and comfortable sofas, Freeview TV, and DVD player, this room is great for families and groups alike.
- The living-dining area is a mix of carpet and laminate.
- The lodge boasts a large picture window to benefit from the views whatever the weather!
- The private balcony, with seating is accessed via doors from the living area.
Kitchen
- A fully-equipped kitchen with:
- gas hob and electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.
- A full range of cooking utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery is provided.
- The kitchen maintains the original footprint for those who prefer to keep the kitchen and living areas more separated.
- Additionally Lodge 49 has a cupboard in the dining area offering further kitchen options.
Double Bedroom
- A double bed, dressed in quality bedding awaits. With bedside lighting, bedside cupboards, wardrobe space there is everything you need for a great night’s sleep.
- Please note this room contains the boiler in a locked cupboard.
Bathroom
- The main bathroom features a walk in shower, toilet and hand wash basin.
- Attention to detail includes a large towel rail, ample cupboard space for toiletries, glass shower screen and wet-wall throughout.
FIRST FLOOR

- The stairs open directly into the open plan room.
- This spacious room comfortably sleeps 2 people in single beds. Each bed has its own bedside cabinet and lamp
- Easily storing suitcases and bags, this room also offers a chill out area with TV and DVD player.
- This room also has its own balcony with seating, offering fantastic views of the park and woodland.
Front Bedroom
- This ensuite bedroom is accessed via the open plan room and features a double bed with bedside tables and lamps.
- This room also boasts an ensuite with toilet and sink. For convenience this room also has a towel rail.
Outside
Lodge 49 is set within Barend Holiday Village; a stunning 22 acre site, where you are welcome to wander through the grounds, play on the grass and observe the wildlife around the loch.
There is parking for 2 cars directly outside the lodge (please don’t park on the grass!).

Family Friendly Amenities
At Barend Holiday Lodges we understand the importance of family time, but also how difficult it can be packing everything! That’s why our holiday homes offer plenty of amenities to make your life easier. This property has the following as standard:

All our holiday homes are privately owned, many of them by families, and they often come with books, toys and games to entertain everyone. The fibre broadband is fast enough to stream films and we have a great selection of DVDs in reception to borrow. If you’re looking for days out, check our page on family days out.
Change Over Notes
We welcome arrivals every day of the week at Barend (with a few exceptions around Christmas and New Year). Arrivals are from 4pm and we kindly request guests to depart by 10am in order for our cleaning team to get the cabins ready for the next guests. Thank you!
