Celebrate Hogmanay at Barend

The sound of bagpipes, Auld Lang Syne being sung under starry skies uninterrupted by light pollution. Hogmanay at Barend Holiday Village is a special place to be. The onsite pub is within walking distance, or our large self-catering properties are perfect for gathering together with loved ones.

Snuggle up in front of a cosy fire place after a stroll around Barend Loch or at Sandyhills Beach. Gather everyone together in our open plan living-dining rooms. And discover why Barend is everyone’s favourite Hogmanay holiday location.

All our lodges have a great festive feel about them. Children receive a free gift and there’s a free bottle of bubbly for the adults too! Give everyone a Christmas to remember and memories to cherish forever.

If you like a super festive feel, some of our owners put up extra decorations and more traditional Christmas decorations. Check out our “Traditional Christmas” properties in the amenities.

A Scottish Hogmanay at Barend

There’s nothing like Hogmanay in Scotland, which is why so many of our guests return year after year. A great occasion to get family and friends together, plus an on-site bar and restaurant means you don’t have to find a “Des” for the night! Bookings are already being taken for 2025 and 2026, so if you’ve got a favourite lodge, we suggest getting it booked quickly!

Guests also receive a free bottle of bubbles to help bring in the New Year.
