Last Minute October Cancellations
Last Minute October Cancellations
*Only Lodge 19 is now left!*
Due to local lockdown restrictions in Lancashire, Manchester and Sheffield we have sadly moved some October half-term bookings. Whilst this is unfortunate for those in Tier 3 locations, it is an amazing opportunity for those of you looking for half-term availability. We are usually full at October half term and it is very unusual for us to have any availability so last minute. There is a mix of three and four star accommodation available. We have some cabins that are pet-free and others that are pet-friendly.

October at Barend
Autumn is a stunning time to visit Dumfries and Galloway. The leaves are turning, the days are mild and the sun still shines. Pubs and cafes are still open – see our blog for some great places to eat. Children can be entertained at many of the great activity centres, all of which are open. Many have also put on specific halloween and autumn events, such as pumpkin picking.
If you’re an outdoorsy person; autumn is a stunning time of the year to pack up your thermos and head out for a walk or bike ride. The Criffel path is now complete to the top. You can enjoy stunning view of the Lake District from the top.
The beach is still stunning. Enjoy a sunset or sunrise at Sandyhills in a warm scarf and feel chilled for the rest of your stay!
