Reopening April 26th 2021
Following Nicola Sturgeon’s announcement on 16th March, we are delighted to confirm Barend Holiday Lodges will be reopening on 26th April 2021! We can’t wait to see you all again.
Preparations for reopening on April 26th 2021
We are in a great position to reopen on the 26th April. Our team are ready to go and we’ll get cleaners in beforehand to make sure the lodges are ready and beautiful for your return. Our maintenance team has been doing regular checks on the lodges throughout lockdown. Over the coming weeks we will review our cleaning and check-in procedures, to ensure they are up to date. Our cleaning team will have recaps on their training. Our reception team will be on touch with people whose bookings need amending, moving or cancelling. Please give them time – we expect them to be very busy over the next week!
Bar, Restaurant and Swimming Pool
Good news here as well! From the information currently available it looks like we will be able to reopen the swimming pool on the 26th April as well. We will continue to offer private 55 minute slots for each lodge, so you can enjoy the pool all to yourselves!
In February this year we also took on the running of the Barend Bar and Restaurant. This has now been renamed The Beagle Country Pub. More information will be available over the coming weeks. Since February we have worked to enable The Beagle to be ready to reopen on the 26th April as well. Outdoor seating has been improved, with a large cover and heating. We hope to be open from lunchtime, so guests can enjoy an afternoon drink and food as well. Please keep an eye out on here and our social media for more information over the coming weeks.
