Authentic, Scandinavian style holiday lodges sleeping 6 or 8 people (with a discount for lower occupancy) at Sandyhills, Dumfries & Galloway.

Each property is individually decorated, meaning you are sure to find a layout and decor to suit your needs. All guests have access to on site EV chargers and laundrette, parking for 2 cars outside your property and free wifi in each property. On arrival your beds will be made, with towels supplied for each guest.

All bookings receive free access to our Swimming Pool and golf at Craigieknowes Golf Course. Please note all our properties are strictly non-smoking: thank you!

Barend Property Grading System

Following the withdrawal of Visit Scotland’s Star Rating system in early 2025, we have introduced our own internal grading system at Barend Holiday Lodges. Continuing the ethos of verifiable, measurable marking, our grading system aims to help you find the perfect holiday home for your budget.

Our properties have been split into 5 bands to help you pick the perfect property for your holiday: Value, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Premium.
